About Fuego Academy
WHY FUEGO DANCE ACADEMY?
Fuego Dance Academy (FuegoDA) was invited to build a hub for dancers to start building or improving on their dance skills, explore their creativity and excel in their dance careers.
We believe that dance is a form of self-expression and an art that should be accessible to everyone. We provide a safe and supportive environment for anyone to explore the world of dance either for fun or fitness or for a career.
However in Fuego we understand dance to also be a sport. The amount of training, dedication, discipline, hunger and competitiveness is equivalent to a sport like rugby or basket ball. Fuego implements similar training styles as many other sport sectors which leads to our dancers excelling beyond imaginable.
Dance Program
Tiny Tots
Ages 5 - 8
Fun classes while learning basic dance fundamentals, develop team work skills, learn music and movement coordination.
Juniors & Teens & Adults
Ages 9 & Over
We have classes available for anyone who wants to learn how to dance or just train to improve their skills.
Crews of levels Amateur, Novice and Champ get trained and conditioned in various dance styles to prepare for National and International competitions and shows.
FUEGO GOALS
We aim to build a strong and inclusive dance community at Fuego Dance Academy. Our students and instructors support and encourage each other, creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere. We strive to see the dance level in South Africa be of International standards and Fuego provides a space for dancers to reach and uphold that standard.
